Rationales
The first example or personal skills that I have been able to demonstrate throughout my time studying graphic design and afterwards would be the ability to rationalize and explain my design decisions through the form of a written rationale. Written rationales allow creatives to explain and share the reasoning behind the design choices they made or actions they took when creating a specific design solution in a professional manor; this also allows the clients to understand why the design solution ended up turning out the way it did.
Time Management
The second example of personal skills that I have acquired working in graphic design would be the ability to organize my time in order to effectively complete projects and meet deadlines. On every strategic brief that is created at the start of a project there is a chance to write a project timeline, this gives creatives something to follow in order to make sure that everything is getting done on time and in the correct order. Throughout my time studying and working in graphic design I have developed several project timelines and learned numerous additional time management skills, such as using softwares like Basecamp for example to keep track of deliverables and deadlines.
